The Mask

The Mask

January 9

Tom Stoppard says love is
“The mask slipped from the face”
As if the masks he wears isn’t the
Key to knowing my Love.

You must know his roles
And love his masks
As much as his face
To love my Love.

The mask sometimes slips
On accident, to anyone
Intimate or not
Off the face of my Love.

But the way he loves
Is to expose his face
On purpose, alone
And you choose the mask
He wears, my Love.
