Dive Deep

Dive Deep

December 5

Dive deep with me
And see what we find
Describe it, and decide
Whether we want to keep
The treasures of the deep
Or discard them lest they cause discord on the surface.
Dive deep with me
and protect me
From what I might find
Or more likely from myself,
My neglect, my misjudgment.
Dive deep

I’d like to be your magic.
Whatever happens with us
I don’t want to ever be “have to,” a burden, requirement
I want to be your joy, your want, your pleasure.
When we dive deep, I want you with me.
When we dance lightly on the shore, I want you to want to be there.
